100 - 20 - 5 - 2

So......
Once we had handed in the 100 Ideas we were given a week to narrow these ideas down to 20, based on some small rules, what ideas did we really like, which ones fitted the brief best and which ideas we felt we could commit to for the whole year. My choices were :-

1. Camouflage Scarf
2. Team Selector
3. Manager Job Safety
4. Atmosphere Booster
5. Friend Commentary
6. Toilet Screens
7. Beer Locker
8. Drink Temperature
9. Commentary Beer Matt
10. Twitter Event Feed
11. Sub Vote
12. Twitter Chat
13. Changing Banner
14. Goal Rater
15. Man of the Match Vote
16. Interactive Red Button Remote
17. Regulars Seat
18. Snack Chair
19. Photo-Stills Delivery
20. Stadium Play List

These 20 ideas we had chosen were to be shown to the guests of the Ideas Day held in Dundee. This event had proven itself very useful for students last year and promised to be even better this year. Many people of industry arrived including Bill Gaver of Goldsmiths, Dalgeit Singh of Digit London and Tim Regan and Richard Banks of Microsoft. In total there were roughly 10 people including tutors and in-house designers. I was lucky enough to meet 8 or 9 all providing valuable feedback for me to consider for narrowing down the ideas further.

After a few days to reflect upon the feedback i had received i realised there were 5 main ideas i felt i wanted to discuss with my tutors. These were:-

1. Camouflage Scarf,

4. Atmosphere Booster,

10/11. Twitter Event Feed/Sub Vote (combining)

13. Changing Banner,

17. Regulars Seat,

Following some discussions with Jon (tutor, module leader and course director) and Pete (tutor) i was fortunate enough to narrow these down to a certain two, The Camouflage Scarf and The Changing Banner.

And so PLAY BEGINS ....................... woohoo!
